It's really short！ I'm not sure I should have paid $1。99 for this， but I enjoy Susan Orlean's writing voice and hypnosis is a subject I find fascinating， so I guess I am not sorry。 In case you are wondering （I wasn't sure）， it really is about hypnosis， not so much about fear of flying， although fear of flying was what originally brings her to the hypnotist， back in 1990 when her writing career had taken off， no pun intended， to such an extent that she kept needing to fly places for book events a It's really short！ I'm not sure I should have paid $1。99 for this， but I enjoy Susan Orlean's writing voice and hypnosis is a subject I find fascinating， so I guess I am not sorry。 In case you are wondering （I wasn't sure）， it really is about hypnosis， not so much about fear of flying， although fear of flying was what originally brings her to the hypnotist， back in 1990 when her writing career had taken off， no pun intended， to such an extent that she kept needing to fly places for book events and and was always terrified。It works -- but she doesn't understand why。 Some 30 years later， during the lockdown， she starts thinking about hypnosis again。 。。。more
